Why did you choose UA Sports Medicine?
Being EM trained, it's hard to find a program that feels comfortable and ready to have EM fellows. At UA, the EM fellows have a lot of EM/Sports Med trained faculty that offer great guidance and integration of the two.
What are you most excited about for life in Tucson?
Hiking! As a city/ beach girl it's going to be nice to see what the mountains have to offer.
What are your interests or hobbies outside of Medicine?
Obviously sports. Go Texans! Finding new places to hike in Arizona, trying new local restaurants, working out, and finding the next Netflix show to binge.
What are your professional interests within Medicine?
Other than EM and Sports Med, I think combining the two with diagnostic and procedural ultrasound techniques for effective treatments options.
Favorite way to spend a day off?
Lounging by the pool or trying out a new golf course.
